Acts and Lessons during Covid in India
Hi all,
This is my first blog in the world of blogging. Its hard time as the whole world is fighting with global pandemic of Corona. India is indeed in great panic as the second wave has already exhausted millions of lives. People are in search of oxygen cylinders for their dear and near ones. No doubt that Govt is doing things fast and in right way now. Vaccination is also on the way. Around twenty crores vaccination is done so far. But after loosing so many lives there is a question in mind of the people. WHATEVER THE GOVT IS DOING NOW, CAN NOT BE DONE EARLIER?? Almost everyone in the country has lost someone who was close to him. It is really astonishing that even after 74 years of independence, we are unable to provide the basic medical facilities to our citizens. I don't want to blame any political party for this, but at the same time I will desperately say that we don't want such politicians who have no fore-vision. People were crying, rushing here and there, begging for basic medical facilities, performing cremations without last rituals & some even don't get the last glimpse of there beloved one's. Its like the scenes of a horror movie that have come true. We have felt it, lived it & wept with it. Today, when the Govt's are claiming that the peak has gone and the things are going to be normal in some days, can we seriously ponder over the causes of negligence. Negligence of Central Govt, negligence of State Govt's, negligence of medical infrastructure. The debate will go on. Life will be normal in some days leaving behind mourning of kids for their father's, some broken dreams, many unfinished stories. But what lesson we have learnt from such type of disasters. Is it really so that we forget the things and priorities once the things get normal. If it is so, then really we are going to suffer in future again with some other kind of pandemic, disasters or some other unseen dangers. People will have to raise their voice through their democratic rights to avoid such type of negligence in future. At the same time we should also condemn those who have taken advantage of this pandemic and sold their souls to earn profits like the vultures.
Jai Hind.
